    Hawaii Palm

The Hawaii Palm, or Brighamia insignis, is a rare and unique plant that’s native to the Hawaiian Islands. Known for its distinctive, chunky trunk and rosettes of long, narrow leaves, it’s a total conversation starter. This plant is a bit more unusual compared to typical palms, and it stands out with its thick, succulent-like base, which helps it store water.

Although it’s hardy, the Brighamia insignis does require a little extra care to keep it happy. It thrives in warm, sunny spots but can also handle a bit of indirect light, making it a great addition to your indoor collection. With a little attention to watering and light, it’ll flourish and be a beautiful addition to your space.

    How to take care:

Light: Bright, indirect light. It loves the sun but not direct exposure, which can scorch its leaves.

Watering: Water when the soil is dry to the touch. Be careful not to overwater, as it’s susceptible to root rot.

Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity but can tolerate average indoor humidity.

Temperature: Prefers warm temps (18-25°C) Keep away from cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
